Our Mission
The mission of LCI has been to create a systematic method for moving youth and young families towards self-sufficiency by focusing on job development, improved access to careerpath training and employment, and prevention activities. Rather than duplicating other programs, LCI has sought to realize its mission by building new partnerships among existing programs. Through these partnerships or consortia, LCI has bridged the gap from school-towork or school-to-career for youth and young adults who lack the skills, support and resources to become self-sufficient.
